The Bickley Scale meet is Sunday 3rd August, during which only scale aircraft can be flown until 4pm. After 4pm the transmitter control stops and off the peg flying commences with any type of aircraft then able to be flown.

This is a very relaxed scale day and we invite all standards of scale model to be flown. This is not a competition! If you have a model that in some way is scale, bring it, fly it and have enjoy the day.

However we do advertise the event as Saturday too and we invite scale flyers to attend both days if they wish. The difference
is that any aircraft can be flown all day on the Saturday and there is no transmitter control.

We use a peg on system so each flyer must have some form of peg which has both their channel number and their name on it.

There is another flying club quite near to us so we have split the channels between the two clubs. We have use of all the odd numbers plus 86, 88 and 90. No other 35mhz channels can be used at Bickley. 2.4g is welcome.

Anyone wishing to camp for the weekend is also welcome but be aware that we have no water facilities and no electrics. There are local amenities though and we even have a model shop 2 minutes away - tjdmodels
