Details of the LMA fly-ins at Bickley 09 will be posted here when dates have been set.

Below were the details for the 08 fly-ins most of which will remain relevant.

Fly-ins are not public shows. Therefore you only need to be an LMA member, you don’t need to have passed your LMA proficiency. You could do it on the day though!

They are 2 day events however the main day is the Sunday and thats the only day that will have a transmitter control. The saturday will be off the peg all day.

For the Saturdays of the peg flying we use a peg on system so each flyer must have some form of peg which has both their channel number and their name on it.

There is another flying club quite near to us so we have split the channels between the two clubs. We have use of all the odd numbers plus 86, 88 and 90. No other 35mhz channels can be used at Bickley - 2.4g is welcome.

Bickley club members are obviously welcome to still fly all weekend and are encouraged to do so!!

Anyone wishing to camp for the weekend is also welcome but be aware that we have no water facilities and no electrics. There are local amenities though and we even have a model shop 2 minutes away - tjdmodels
