Our recent club night, Tuesday 18th March. We had the pleasure of Tony Nijhuis and Colin Hammond giving a talk on their Lancasters. Our meetings are in a function room at a sports complex. However for this meeting we had to change the date and so could only use the room adjacent the main bar area upstairs in the venue. Thankfully these large models were able to be carried up and assembled in the room. The talk from both of them was very much enjoyed by all the Bickley members that attended and also by some local guys from other clubs that came along. The funny bit was when Tony powered up the sound system in his lanc. The sound of 4 merlins bursting into life certainly shocked some of the people having a drink in the bar.
